    • Tasting Flights

      Enjoy a wine tasting. The wines are are carefully pre-selected by our Wine Maker, Bob and our Sommelier, Szilvia to provide an experience unlike other wineries. Wine tasting flights are available every day from opening to 7pm. After 7pm wine flights are available by appointment only to ensure that SGW guests receive the experience we intend to provide. Wine tastings are also not available during events (unless previously arranged with Szilvia). We follow the Wine & Spirit Education Trust's recommendations regarding the size of our tasting pours, hence we, unfortunately, are unable to share flights.

      Grapes harvested in the Tuscan region of Italy, this wine consists of 3 varietals: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Sangiovese. It is Italy's answer the great Bordeaux blends and can be described as a full-bodied wine with firm tannins, notes of cherries and currants with a delectable finish.

      Varietal: Sangiovese

      Sour cherry, dried cranberry and unripe blackberry notes accentuate minuscules of dried green herbs (oregano). Mouth gripping tannins on the palate, while the acid will make your saliva glands work out. Slight coffee, mocha, maybe a little chocolate accompanies slight leather notes. This wine goes well with our meat and cheese boards!

      This is a very approachable wine that offers higher acidity and lower tannins. It is medium bodied with a sour cherry nose and a bit of earthiness. Bright, red fruit flavors of cherry and cranberry, with a hint of spice, tie it all together. Fresh acidity and smooth silky tannins make this a wine that can easily be enjoyed with or without food.

      Our 2021 harvest of Lodi cab is ready! Ruby is the name and the color of the wine. Medium plus body surrounds bold fruity notes, but these fruits are definitely not sweet. Little cedar, tobacco along with some dark chocolate - all from ageing this wine in a French oak barrel for 6 months.

      Try this wonderful light body Pinot Noir. Very youthful, full of ripe sweet fruity aromas on the nose, and tart currants and cherries on the palate. This bone dry wine has lots of tannins, along with high acidity and the long finish will leave you with notes of dark chocolate and smoke.

      This wine is a surprising Malbec in every sense. While you expect a heavy body, certain chewyness, this wine is lighter body, but has many layers of fruitfulness, specially red currant, black cherries, along with bright acidity, medium tannins and sour cherry on the finish. Unoaked.

      Varietal: Malbec

      This wine is lighter body, but has many layers of fruitfulness, specially red currant, black cherries, along with medium acidity, higher tannins and sour cherry on the finish, which accompany the sweetness and smokiness of the bourbon that's prevalent throughout the entire mounthfeel. This wine was aged in a Garrison Brothers bourbon barrel for 3 months.

      Varietal: Malbec

      This wine is the fortified Texas Malbec - Bourbon Barrel Aged.  Fruity notes: red currant, black cherries, along with medium acidity, higher tannins and sour cherry on the finish, which accompany the sweetness and smokiness of the bourbon with a little heat. This wine was aged in a Garrison Brothers bourbon barrel for 3 months, then fortified to 16% alcohol.

      AWARD WINNING WINE

      Dark purple in color with a nose of blackberry jam melded with creamy vanilla aromas and a touch of tobacco. Rich on the palate, it has smooth tannins intertwined with ripe plum and berry flavors, like an off-dry Merlot. The finish is long and fruit-forward, with the perfect amount of toasted oak.

      This Italian classic was aged in a rum barrel. Elderflowers and classic fruits along with some lemon on the nose. The palate blossoms into apples and citrus, accompanied by high acidity and a long finish, along with some fresh oak.

      Our sparkling wine is composed of French Colombard, an offspring of the Chenin Blanc grape. All sparkling wines are produced in the Méthod Charmat, in which a cold secondary fermentation occurs in stainless tanks and then bottled under pressure. The grapes are grown in the fertile San Joaquin Valley of California. The soil composition of the vineyards consists of rich loam with alluvial deposits from granite sources of the Sierra Nevada mountain range which aids in drainage.
