Wine Tasting Class

Have you ever wondered if you are holding the glass right? Should you stick your nose into the glass or not to get all the aromas? Is the wine fruity, oaky, and what are those darn tannins anyway?

Sable Gate winery is excited to bring you a series of wine tasting classes. The first class of 4 will be held on June 30 and will introduce participants to the basics of wine tasting. Our sommelier Kate Gittings will lead participants through this 101 class. We will discuss basic wine etiquette, talk about different varietals, taste 5 wines paired cheeses to cleanse the palate. Whether you are a beginner wine aficionado, or would like to brush up on those tried and true tasting skills, this is one fun class for you. Bring a friend, or make one here, but don’t miss it.
You can join this class, or the entire 4-class series. Participants of the entire series will receive a Sable Gate Winery Official Wine Taster Certificate and a gift certificate for a complimentary wine tasting for 2.
